Education & Community

I make tools and technology approachable.

I approach learning through creative problem solving and practical application. I especially focus on making technical ideas approachable and helping people feel capable instead of overwhelmed.

Teach Through Making Use practical examples and hands-on constraints to help people understand by doing.
Translate Complexity Turn technical, creative, and domain-specific ideas into explanations people can act on.
Support Different Learners Adapt pacing, framing, and feedback around how people actually absorb information.
Hands on Learning Demonstrate concepts through interactive activities and real-world applications.

Field Notes

Teaching, tools, and community work across different kinds of learners.

CoCo Coders / CMoD / STEM Lab

Helped young learners get comfortable with technology one small win at a time.

Whether teaching Scratch with CoCo Coders, volunteering at the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, or helping out in elementary STEM labs, I try to make technical ideas feel approachable without sanding off the interesting parts.

I aim to meet people where they are without talking down to them, helping them understand not just how something works, but why it works. That “why” gives them something they can reason through, remember, and apply again later.

People of all ages learn better in an environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and creativity without stigmatizing failure.

Taught Scratch Game Development Remote classes for kids with different skill levels
Supported STEM Discovery Science nights, exhibits, experiments, and parent interaction
Encouraged Curiosity Questions, theories, testing, play, and self-directed problem solving

Need someone who can turn complexity into clarity?

I can help teach the material, build the supporting systems, and create practical paths for people to learn by doing.
